Published Thu, 06 Mar 2025 18:16:58 GMT

Happy Sunday, South Florida!Hopefully everyone had a wonderful weekend. South Florida continued to enjoy mostly quiet conditions this weekend, apart from a few quick-moving showers that pushed through our area late Saturday night and again on and off throughout the day today. Overall the weekend turned out to be a nice one for us!The start of the work week promises more quiet time and lots of sunshine for South Florida. An area of high-pressure will dominate our weather pattern through the next couple of days, which should leave tranquil weather conditions across South Florida. And while Monday starts off breezy at times, wind speeds should continue to die down as the week goes on. Afternoon high temperatures on Monday will be similar...

Any time a team goes on a long winning streak, the pressure to keep it going mounts with each game.Even more so for a team like the Red Sox, who most experts predicted will win around 78 games and finish at the bottom of the AL East again this year, but entered Sunday afternoon’s series finale in Philadelphia with an 8-game win streak on the line and the fourth-best record in the majors.Boston had already won the series by taking the first two games, but they weren’t going to be able to keep the pricy and powerful Philly lineup quiet all weekend.
