Diaz also hasn’t spoken to Foxx since he was hospitalized and doesn’t know what’s going on with him, “other than what she hears,” the friend said.Diaz was ready to quit acting for a second time when problems started occurring on the London set of “Back in Action” earlier this year, which include...The top nine most expensive home sales in Saratoga, reported the week of May 29

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on a visit to the United States this week that has included meetings with Elon Musk and author Nassim Nicholas Taleb, among others, will meet with President Joe Biden on Thursday and be hosted at a state dinner in the evening. The trip is intended to solidify a partnership between India and the United States that has, among other goals, the intention of firming up a future U.S.-India partnership against China.Yet while Modi’s visit has been touted as the blossoming of a friendship between two of the world’s largest democracies, the rosy optics have clouded out a darker story: the increasingly grim fate of Indian political prisoners, including many well known to Western nongovernmental organizations and media establishments, under the right-wing Modi government.A long list of Indian civil society members are currently languishing in the country’s prisons. BOSTON (AP) — Eight hours. And within them, many unanswered questions. About an hour and a half after it dipped below the North Atlantic, a submersible on an expedition to view the wreckage of the Titanic lost communication with the surface. It would take another nearly eight hours before the Canadian research icebreaker Polar Prince, supporting the Titan submersible, reported it missing to the Coast Guard — a report that triggered the international rescue effort that was ongoing Thursday. The time lag has yet to be explained by the company that owns the submersible, OceanGate Expeditions. Sean Leet, head of the company that co-owns the Titan’s support ship, refused to discuss the timeline during a news conference Wednesday, saying only that “all protocols were followed for the mission.” But experts familiar with deep-sea exploration said those lost hours raise red flags.“The time delay between declaring a submersible sunk and notification to outside resources and emergency responder...Firefighters struggled to identify the toxic freight in fiery Ohio train derailment, chiefs say

OMAHA, Neb.
